A Laundry Attendant must ensure he or she follows the company mission statement and values. The purpose of this position is to maintain a high standard of excellence regarding to the laundry portion of the job.\r\nEssential Functions\r\nReasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.\r\nMaintain a high standard of excellence.\r\nWork with efficiency and quality.\r\nSort clean/dirty linen, place in designated bins.\r\nPre-treat stains according to color and/or type.\r\nRemove damaged linens.\r\nOperate washers/dryers appropriately.\r\nMonitor and replace as needed detergent and other cleaning agents.\r\nFold/distribute clean linens to proper storage or unit linen bags.\r\nPerform daily maintenance on all machines (lint traps, vents etc.).\r\nAssist in monthly linen inventory.\r\nReport any laundry maintenance issues to manager.\r\nAssist in maintaining cleanliness and organization of laundry and storage areas.\r\nEnsure a safe working environment at each site and office.\r\nWilling and able to perform all duties related to site operation as directed by the Executive Housekeeper.\r\nMaintain a sense of urgency so that linens are distributed on time.\r\nPersonal timelines.
