Compliance Specialist needed to join the Ethics & Legal Compliance team within the Legal department proving global compliance strategy across the organization. This is a highly visible, fast-paced position supporting a global remit with no two days alike.Core Responsibilities:Compliance Operations & Counseling (approx. 70%): Provide operational and project management support for global compliance programs designed to comply with applicable laws, adhere to the Compliance Education Protocol, and mitigate enterprise compliance risk. This includes administering a Conflict of Interest program (Annual Certification Campaign and ad hoc disclosures), conducting third-party screening and due diligence investigations under Anti-Bribery and Third Party Engagement Policies, and supporting securities trading notification processes for designated individuals. Counsel internal business partners on Code of Conduct matters, anti-corruption, anti-bribery, and conflicts of interest.Third-Party Due Diligence: Conduct investigative deep-dives on vendors, suppliers, and entities before government bodies (tax authorities, customs brokers, public broadcasters such as the BBC, etc.) using platforms like WorldCheck and GAN Integrity. Resolve false positives and produce clear, decision-ready findings.M&A Integration (approx. 10%): Partner with the Project Management Office to lead compliance integration for newly acquired entities and joint ventures, ensuring adherence to compliance controls and processes on both sides of the transaction.Compliance Training & Communications (approx. 10%): Help deploy and, where needed, develop e-learnings, microlearnings, and communications (employee emails, on-lot events, virtual programming) supporting the global workforce. Administer the compliance training program and work with associated learning data.Strategic Initiatives & Reporting (approx. 10%): Support the design of new compliance initiatives - including the annual Compliance Week - and own the synthesis of compliance reporting. Gather input from Legal and senior stakeholders, collate and analyze the data, and deliver clear, well-written briefings to a global audience.Required Qualifications:University degree3-5 years of paralegal experience, or 5+ years of relevant experience in compliance, legal operations, investigations, or a similar functionIntermediate-to-advanced Microsoft Excel skills with comfort handling large data setsStrong writing and verbal communication skills, with experience preparing materials for senior leadershipHands-on experience with WorldCheck, GAN Integrity, LexisNexis, Westlaw, or similar risk-intelligence and screening platformsProficiency with Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, Teams, and OneNoteInvestigative or analytical background with the ability to conduct independent research and exercise sound judgmentPreferred Qualifications:Project management experience, particularly supporting M&A or cross-functional integration workExperience with Power BI, Tableau, or similar dashboard/visualization toolsExperience with CornerStone on Demand or another learning management systemPrior experience supporting global teams or international stakeholdersJ.D. or paralegal certificateFamiliarity with the entertainment industry (not required)
