Dogwood Industries is seeking an experienced Welder to join our Team in Sedro-Woolley. A successful candidate will be able to efficiently and accurately weld steel assemblies from plans, specifications, and quality control hold points, perform simple fittings, and process complex parts for assembly. A successful candidate must be able to understand written and verbal instructions while following dimensional and welding drawings and produce production quality welds within a given process.  Welding competency in all positions  Maintains the work area and equipment in a clean and orderly fashion High school diploma, general education degree or vocational degree 3+ years of experience welding or trade school education Certified welder holding current WABO or AWS certification (FCAW) Skillful operation of most non-specialized metal working equipment Understands and applies visual inspection criteria in pre-QC work checks Be able to lift, pull and push material and equipment to complete assigned job tasks.
