A travel Registered Nurse, specializing in Operating Room nursing, is needed to provide skilled clinical support primarily in the Cardiovascular Operating Room (CVOR) with additional floating responsibilities to various clinically appropriate units. Float to emergency departments, intensive care units, medical units, and other areas consistent with demonstrated competencies, licensure, and the clinician's scope of practice. Respond to on-call duties as required to ensure continuous patient care coverage. Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to support patient safety and clinical excellence.Licensure & Certification Requirements:Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Illinois. Current CPR/BLS certification. ACLS certification required; additional certifications such as PALS, TNCC, NIHSS, and CSU-ALS preferred based on unit assignments. Ability to meet specific hospital requirements for various clinical settings including Emergency, ICU, Medical Units, Step Down, and Rehab as applicable.Desired Experience:Proven expertise in perioperative nursing, particularly within cardiovascular surgery settings. Competence floating across diverse clinical units, adjusting seamlessly to varied patient care demands.
