{"schemaVersion":"jobsearcher.job.v1","id":"b6ea202afbfc2d7969961372","url":"https://jobsearcher.com/jobs/b6ea202afbfc2d7969961372","canonicalUrl":"https://jobsearcher.com/jobs/b6ea202afbfc2d7969961372","title":"Electrical Assembler Technician (2nd Shift)","description":"Job TitleResponsibilities:Perform soldering in accordance with IPC-J-STD on printed circuit boards, printed wire boards, and circuit card assemblies both through hole and surface mount applications.Assemble chassis and final units using circuit cards, wire harnesses, soldering/crimping tools, and precision instruments.Perform high-reliability soldering and crimping on complex sub-assemblies, including board-level repairs and jumper wire installations.Work with multi-pin connectors and assemblies to meet stringent government and customer specs.Interpret assembly drawings, BOMs, and electronic work instructions.Follow ESD protocols and maintain certification standards for high-reliability soldering.Collaborate with engineering to troubleshoot, rework, and improve testing procedures.Maintain cleanliness and traceability documentation for controlled programs.Requirements:5+ years of hands-on experience in electrical assembly and soldering.Expertise in crimping, medical device assembly, board-level repair, and electronic units.Familiarity with J-STD, IPC 610/620 standards, and torque/crimping tools.Preferred:NASA 8739 soldering certification.Experience with avionics components (e.g., circuit card rework, coating, installation).Ability to read and work directly from engineering drawings.Strong interpersonal skills for cross-functional collaboration.Education:High school diploma or equivalent formal training.We offer attractive, competitive compensation and benefits including, medical, dental, 401k, short-term disability, AD&D, tuition reimbursement, and more.
