Ink Formulator

Role OverviewWe are looking for an Ink Formulator to join our Inkjet Materials R&D team onsite in Rochester, New York. This individual will work on the development and characterization of new ink formulations and materials for digital inkjet printing.Key Responsibilities:Development, evaluation and commercialization of new ink formulationsEstablishment of testing methods and expand internal infrastructure for IJ materials characterizationDevelop understanding of the fluid properties required for printing and product performance.Required Skills/Experience:~5 to 10 years experience in the inks, printing or related industriesBasic understanding of dispersions and related processes and materialsHistory formulating ink for Piezoelectric based jetting a strong plusWorking knowledge of color scienceEffective communication skillsAbility to work collaboratively on teamsWillingness to work hands-on in the labEducation Requirements:* Degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering or Material ScienceEOE Policy Statement:All qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, national origin, or disability.Estimated Salary: $90,000 - $100,000Experience Level: 5-10 Years
