We represent individuals and businesses — employees, executives, whistleblowers, and shareholders — in federal and state court.The RoleYou will work directly with trial counsel on active federal and state court matters. That means drafting motions, managing discovery, preparing witnesses, and being in the courtroom. This is not a document review position. Cases go to trial here.RequirementsJ.D. from an accredited law school; licensed and in good standing in Illinois2–4 years of civil litigation experience (employment, commercial, or personal injury all considered)Defense-side background is welcome and transferableDemonstrated experience drafting dispositive motions, discovery, and court filingsFamiliarity with federal court practice; Northern District of Illinois experience a plusStrong legal writer — you will draft briefs, 56.1 statements, and discovery from day oneAbility to manage multiple active matters independentlyA genuine interest in plaintiff-side advocacyWhat This IsA small firm where you will get real responsibility quickly.
