Marketing Concentration\nSupervisor’s Title: Academic Dean/Program Manager\nDepartment: Academics\nGeneral Summary\nThe Business Career Program Marketing concentration instructor will teach the following courses:\nSocial and Sales Network Communications\nSelling Strategies and Content Marketing\nMarketing and Sales Ecosystem Management\nProduct Innovation\nCustomer Response Marketing\nStorytelling for Sales and Marketing\nPersonal Branding for Sales and Marketing Professionals\nGlobal Business Perspectives\nThe instructor will be responsible for planning and delivering in-class instruction with approved curriculum.\nEssential Duties\nTeach up to 27.5 hours week.\nPrepare lesson plans for each class session.\nDeliver lectures and facilitate Project-Based Learning (PBL) on various business related topics.\nAssist students in the learning process.\nEvaluate and monitor student progress through the use of various assessment tools.\nKeep necessary records to report Satisfactory Academic Progress (SAP) to the Academic Dean/Program Manager.\nAttend and participate in quarterly campus-wide instructor in-service meetings as required.\nStay well-informed with the advancements in teaching by attending professional development activities outside of CSI.\nOrganize and lead field outings for student enrichment once per module.\nActively contribute to program improvement through the use of committee involvements.\nProvide support through academic advising to ensure student growth and retention.\nAdditional tasks as needed\nEducation and Experience: The position requires a Bachelor’s degree or higher in business administration with emphasis/concentration on marketing, advertising, public relations or a closely related field. If the degree is not in business administration or a directly related field, candidates with at least two years of related work experience or evidence of specialized training related to the field and industry may be considered.\nPhysical requirements: While performing the duties of this job, the instructor is regularly required to stand; walk; sit; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms; talk and hear. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.\nWork Environment: Normal office working conditions.
