Superintendent – Large-Scale Commercial Construction$120K–$170K base + annual bonus + ESOP + vehicle allowanceA highly respected, employee-owned Top ENR General Contractor is seeking a Superintendent to help lead some of the largest and most complex commercial construction projects in the Columbus market.The team is specifically seeking someone with experience leading large-scale commercial construction projects in the $100M+ range who enjoys being highly involved in field operations, team coordination, and driving projects forward from the front lines.What You’ll Be Responsible ForLead field operations from mobilization through project turnover and closeoutManage and coordinate subcontractors, self-perform teams, inspections, and daily jobsite activityDevelop and maintain short-term schedules and drive overall project sequencing in partnership with Project Management teamsEnsure projects maintain safety, quality, and schedule expectations throughout constructionLead pull-planning meetings, subcontractor coordination meetings, and daily field communicationReview drawings, specifications, and construction documents to proactively identify and solve issuesCoordinate logistics, manpower planning, material deliveries, and site utilizationMentor Assistant Superintendents, field engineers, and junior operations staffPartner closely with owners, architects, engineers, and inspectors throughout project executionHelp maintain a highly collaborative and team-oriented project environmentProject TypesLarge-scale healthcare and hospital campusesHigher education and student housing developmentsMission-critical and advanced technology facilitiesIndustrial and manufacturing projectsLarge commercial mixed-use developmentsComplex occupied renovations and phased constructionIdeal Background7+ years of Superintendent experience with a General ContractorExperience leading large-scale commercial construction projects in the $100M+ range strongly preferredBackground with healthcare, higher education, industrial, mission-critical, or large mixed-use projects highly valuedStrong scheduling, sequencing, and subcontractor coordination experienceAbility to lead large field teams in fast-paced, complex project environmentsExperience with Lean construction, pull-planning, or advanced scheduling methods is a plusSomeone who values accountability, communication, teamwork, and long-term culture fitCompensation & Benefits$120K–$170K base + annual bonus + ESOP + vehicle allowanceAnnual performance bonusEmployee Stock Ownership Plan (ESOP)Vehicle allowance and technology packageStrong medical, dental, vision, and 401(k) benefitsPTO and long-term advancement opportunitiesIndustry-leading safety culture and training resources
