Treasury InternThe Treasury Intern will support the Treasury team in managing the branch's financial and liquidity risks to maximize profitability and optimize capital efficiency. This role offers a unique "deep dive" into bank operations, institutional financial markets, and the strategic role of Treasury. You will gain hands-on experience with sophisticated banking products, including fixed income, derivatives, loans, and deposits.The duties of the position include, but are not limited to, the following:Conduct financial and risk analysis of fixed-income issuersEvaluate and analyze balance sheet performanceIdentify emerging market opportunitiesConduct regulatory research to ensure compliance with shifting financial landscapesReporting constructionParticipate in data quality improvement projectsReporting automationParticipate in team meetings, training sessions, and strategy discussions.Ability to understand, speak, read and write English and SpanishAssume evolving duties and responsibilities of positionProvide coverage for other positions as requestedAbility to carry and lift boxes and objects that may weigh between 10 and 25 pounds.Perform additional duties and responsibilities as assigned by managementIn the performance of their duties, all Bci - Miami Branch staff members are required to comply with all state and federal regulatory and legal requirements, including the Bank Secrecy Act, the Federal Election Campaign Act of 1979, the Foreign Corrupt Practices Act, and the Bank Bribery Amendments Act.
