{"schemaVersion":"jobsearcher.job.v1","id":"b6bcc33444d17cfe10e038cd","url":"https://jobsearcher.com/jobs/b6bcc33444d17cfe10e038cd","canonicalUrl":"https://jobsearcher.com/jobs/b6bcc33444d17cfe10e038cd","title":"DRIVER","description":"SUMMARY:\nThe Driver supports material handling/transport of loads to include delivery of non-hazardous materials or equipment or unloading and receipt of goods for the warehouse.\nRESPONSIBILITIES:\nDrives a motor vehicle up to 26,001 pounds gross vehicle weight (VW) on public highways to transport non-hazardous materials or equipment.\nLoads and/or unloads the vehicle as needed or required.\nShip goods from the warehouse to include:\nPrepare records of goods shipped and prepare bills of lading.\nPost weight and shipping charges.\nKeep files of shipping records.\nVerify correctness of shipments against bills of lading, invoices, etc.\nReceive incoming shipments of merchandise or other materials:\nKeep records of goods received.\nRoute goods to the proper departments.\nRecord items shipped and received using bar code readers, computer terminals or other electronic devices.\nMay include material handling - Kit items for assembly department, participate in inventory cycle counts, report damaged goods and shortages.\nPerform preventative maintenance duties as required.\nMaintain high level of integrity in dealing with all departments within the organization\nIdentify process improvements.\nPerform other duties as assigned by management.\nMINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:\nHigh school diploma or GED.\nRequires a valid driver’s license and clean driving record. Driving abstract from the department of licensing must be acquired by the employee and provided to management when requested.\nForklift certification required. This certification can be obtained and maintained in-house.\nStrong attention to detail, organizational, time management and follow-up skills.\nBasic experience in PC skills (Microsoft Office-Excel, Word).\nTeam player who can handle working under pressure in a fast-paced environment, with a sense of urgency.\nQuality oriented individual with a hands-on, “do it right the first time” attitude.\nOther duties as assigned by management.\nMust be able to maintain good attendance and punctuality.\nAble to work independently with minimum supervision.\nMinimum of 1 year in Aerospace Manufacturing environment.\nPHYSICAL DEMANDS:\nThe physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
