Network Operations Center Technician
This role is focused on providing advanced support for network operations, specifically in troubleshooting and resolving issues escalated from Tier I and Tier II support teams.ResponsibilitiesPrior experience of Fiber/Wireless/Voice Internet Service Provider support preferred.Experience troubleshooting the following Fiber to the Home internet gateway equipment: Calix, Ubiquiti, ZTE.Successful training or certification in Cisco, Cambium, Calix, and Juniper.Prior experience in LTE troubleshooting and other Point-to-point radio systems is preferred.Working knowledge of network technologies and components such as switches, routers, and firewalls and RF technologies such as LTE, wireless radios, Wi-Fi, etc.Experience with in-home WiFi connectivity.Understanding of the essentials of data and signal.8–10+ years in network operations, engineering, or telecommunications, with proven experience in NOC or ISP environments.Deep expertise in IP networking (BGP, OSPF, MPLS, VLANs, VPNs, QoS) and fiber transport systems (DWDM, CWDM, Ethernet).Hands-on experience with Juniper (Junos), Cisco, and MikroTik platforms.Calix XGS-PON and access/aggregation network management systems.Fixed wireless and LTE platforms such as Cambium, Telrad, or similar.Advanced diagnostic, analytical, and scripting abilities (Python, shell, or equivalent a plus).QualificationsDeep expertise in IP networking (BGP, OSPF, MPLS, VLANs, VPNs, QoS).Hands-on experience with Juniper (Junos), Cisco, and MikroTik platforms.Preferred SkillsExperience troubleshooting Fiber to the Home internet gateway equipment.Successful training or certification in Cisco, Cambium, Calix, and Juniper.Prior experience in LTE troubleshooting and other Point-to-point radio systems.J-18808-Ljbffr
