Title: MES Implementation Support engineerLocation: De Soto, KSPosition OverviewThe MES Implementation Support Engineer will be responsible for supporting the deployment, configuration, and maintenance of Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES) integrated with automated conveyance systems. This role ensures seamless communication between MES, ERP, and shop-floor automation, enabling real-time production visibility and efficiency.Key ResponsibilitiesMES ImplementationSupport MES rollout across production lines.Configure MES modules for automated conveyance workflows.Assist in go-live activities, testing, and validation.System IntegrationCoordinate integration of MES with AGVs, conveyors, and robotics.Collaborate with automation vendors to resolve technical issues.Ensure data flow between MES, SCADA, and ERP systems.Production SupportTroubleshoot MES-conveyance interface issues.Monitor system performance and optimize workflows.Provide technical support during factory launch/start-up projects.Process OptimizationAnalyze production bottlenecks and recommend MES-driven improvements.Implement automation scripts for efficiency gains.Support continuous improvement initiatives.Stakeholder CollaborationWork with manufacturing, IT, and engineering teams.Align MES requirements with business and production needs.Provide training and documentation for MES users. QualificationsEducation: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Manufacturing Technology, or related field.Experience:3–7 years in MES implementation or manufacturing system deployment.Hands-on experience with automated conveyance systems (AGVs, conveyors, robotics).Knowledge of SCADA, PLCs, ERP integration.Skills:Strong troubleshooting/problem-solving skills.Coordination across multiple stakeholders.Business-level communication (English; Japanese proficiency is a plus for global projects).
