You'll partner closely with engineers, technical experts, editors, and operations leaders to manage complex publication cycles, improve content governance, and drive initiatives that enhance quality, efficiency, and scalability.\n\nAs FM continues to modernize its content management capabilities, you'll play a key role in advancing new technologies, supporting the adoption of Tridion, and identifying opportunities to leverage automation and AI to improve how technical content is created, managed, and delivered.\n\nLead & Develop the Team\n\nLead, coach, and develop a team responsible for engineering content operations, publishing, and production activities.\n\nFoster a culture of accountability, collaboration, continuous learning, and innovation.\n\nRecruit, develop, and retain talent while supporting adoption of new processes and technologies.\n\nManage Engineering Standards Operations\n\nOversee the end-to-end publication lifecycle for Engineering Operating Standards, client-facing Data Sheets and internal technical communications.\n\nEnsure content quality, governance, data integrity, and on-time delivery.\n\nManage publication schedules, translation needs, priorities, and cross-functional dependencies to support successful release cycles.\n\nCollaborate Across the Business\n\nPartner with engineers, technical editors, multimedia specialists, and operations support teams to deliver accurate and effective technical content.\n\nAlign stakeholders, resolve issues, and drive decisions to meet business objectives and critical deadlines.\n\nTranslate technical and operational requirements into actionable plans and priorities.\n\nDrive Innovation & Continuous Improvement\n\nIdentify opportunities to improve workflows, governance practices, and content operations.\n\nSupport the evolution of content management platforms, including Tridion.\n\nLeverage automation, AI, and emerging technologies to improve efficiency, consistency, and scalability.\n\nLead process and technology transformation initiatives that enhance operational effectiveness.\n\nQualifications\n\n5+ years of experience leading content operations, publishing, documentation, technical content, or related business processes.\n\nStrong project management experience, including managing complex initiatives, coordinating cross-functional stakeholders, and delivering results on schedule.\n\nExperience managing technical content, publishing processes, content management workflows, version controls, permissions, documentation, and workflow processes to support efficient content delivery.\n\nProven experience leading, developing, and motivating teams in a collaborative environment.\n\nExcellent communication, influencing, and relationship-building skills.\n\nDemonstrated strategic thinking, problem-solving, and decision-making capabilities.\n\nExperience partnering effectively across engineering, operations, and business teams.\n\nStrong technical aptitude and proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.\n\nExperience leading process improvement, governance, or operational excellence initiatives.\n\nExperience with Tridion or similar content management platforms is a plus.\n\nExperience and knowledge of XML, Adobe Professional, and SharePoint are preferred.\n\nExperience leveraging automation, artificial intelligence (AI), or emerging technologies to improve workflows and business outcomes is highly preferred.\n\nEducation\n\nBachelors degree (preferred) or equivalent experience.\n\nThe hiring range for this position is $83,000- $119,000 a year. The final salary offer will vary based on geographic location, individual education, skills, and experience.
