We are BUILT FOR THE WILD™.About The RoleThe Process & Equipment Engineering Manager leads the global strategy and execution of equipment and process support for customization operations. This role manages a distributed team of engineers and technicians and is accountable for scalable support models, equipment reliability, capital planning, and technical readiness across multiple manufacturing sites.What You'll DoLead, mentor, and develop a team of technicians and engineers supporting global customization facilitiesSet priorities, allocate resources, and build technical capability to support both current operations and future growthLead equipment specification, selection, procurement, validation, and acceptance in partnership with engineering and operationsDefine and standardize global processes for equipment maintenance, support, and lifecycle managementOwn the CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System) strategy, governance, and performance to enable consistent, data –driven support across multiple sitesBalance global standards with regional requirements where neededEstablish best practices for spare parts and inventory management across locationsDevelop, implement, and maintain technical documentation for industrial equipment/processesPartner cross‑functionally with engineering, operations, quality, and program management teams to ensure alignment on scope, timing, and deliverablesProvide technical training and hands-on support to team members and site personnelServe as the escalation point for complex equipment, automation, and process issuesCollaborate with the quality team on root cause analysis and corrective actions for quality issuesUse manufacturing and equipment performance metrics to identity trends and drive continuous improvementProduce and maintain documentation related to equipment operation, maintenance, and technical proceduresCoordinate with vendors to resolve technical and performance issuesWhat You BringBachelor’s degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM) with 8+ years of relevant experience with 3+ years in a management role; manufacturing equipment experience strongly preferredStrong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to distill complex technical information for diverse audiencesDemonstrated ability to operate effectively in environments with change and ambiguity, proposing solutions with limited guidanceProficiency in reading and developing electrical, pneumatic, and mechanical schematics and diagramsProven experience troubleshooting complex process and machine issuesSelf-directed and highly organized, with the ability to manage multiple projects concurrentlyWillingness and ability to travel approximately 20%LW1Benefits & PerksClick here to learn about the benefits and perks we offer at YETI.YETI is proud to be an Equal Opportunity Employer.Our commitment to creating a diverse, equitable, and inclusive culture is at the center of everything we do for our employees.
