This position requires an individual with a strong analytical mindset, proficient in SQL programming, and adept at working with diverse datasets.\nResponsibilities:\n· Develop and maintain automated processes and SQL procedures to streamline operations.\n· Collaborate with actuaries to identify and resolve production errors, as well as conduct ad-hoc analysis.\n· Utilize SQL and other programming languages to navigate, perform calculations, analyze, and manipulate data effectively.\n· Create batch jobs to extract data from various sources, transform it, and load it into various destinations.\n· Develop ad hoc and quarterly Excel spreadsheets using advanced functions and VBA macros.\n· Produce processes, data analytics, and reports to support strategic business decisions.\n· Acquire actuarial, accounting, and product knowledge to enhance job performance.\nQualifications:\n· Bachelor's degree in information systems, business analytics, or a related field.\n· Proficiency in writing SQL queries and knowledge of relational database systems.\n· Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel.\n· Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.\n· Strong communication skills and ability to work independently and collaboratively.\n· Willingness to learn new concepts and drive to improve existing processes.\nPreferred Qualifications:\n· Experience with source control systems such as Git.\n· Experience with SSIS, IBM DataStage, or similar ETL tools.\n· Proficiency in Python and Windows batch programming.\n· Understanding of financial statements.\n· 2 -3 years of experience in a similar role.\nEncore Talent Solutions is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
