We are growing intentionally and building structure into our production team so projects run smoothly, clients feel cared for and our field teams have strong leadership and support. The Project Manager is the day-to-day driver of production. You are in the field approximately 40% of the time supporting Site Supervisors, crews, and subcontractors, and 60% in the office coordinating systems, job costing, and planning. You are responsible for keeping projects on track for quality, schedule, budget, safety, and communication, while developing the field team and improving how we operate. You report to the Production Manager and directly manage Site Supervisors. Key ResponsibilitiesOversee active projects from preconstruction handoff through completionParticipate in preconstruction reviews to identify scope, production, or budget risks before contracts are finalizedLead project kickoff/turnover meetings with clients and the internal teamConduct frequent jobsite visits to ensure quality, safety, cleanliness, and progressManage field crew and subcontractor scheduling with a rolling 3-week lookaheadMonitor job costs with the Production Manager and Controller; provide regular cost updatesEnsure timely communication and processing of Change OrdersCoordinate permits, short-lead materials, and equipment needsProvide clear project milestone updates to clients, trades, and suppliersSupport Site Supervisors through coaching, accountability, and skills developmentEvaluate field staff and subs; participate in performance reviews and growth plansSubmit receipts/bills/invoices per process for accurate job costingParticipate in Project Debriefs and continuous process improvement What Success Looks LikeJobs stay organized, clean, and on scheduleSite Supervisors feel supported and perform at a higher levelClients feel informed and confident throughout the projectFewer surprises due to proactive communication and planningJob costs are tracked accurately and consistently QualificationsExperience managing residential construction projects (remodeling/additions preferred)Strong leadership skills with the ability to coach, delegate, and hold others accountable respectfullyExcellent organizational and time-management skills across multiple jobsCalm, logical problem-solver who anticipates issues earlyComfortable with job costing, budgets, and documentationStrong communication skills with clients, trades, and the internal teamTech-comfortable (spreadsheets, construction software, mobile communication)Valid driver's license, clean MVR, and reliable personal vehicleSmartphone with camera, text, and web capability Pay & BenefitsFull-time, W-2 EmploymentPay: $80,000 to $95,000 (based on experience)Medical, dental, vision with other supplementals401(k) with company matchPaid time offProfessional development assistanceCompany-issued mobile phoneFlexible schedule as the project needs allow*Benefits available after 60 days of employmentScheduleMonday-FridayBased out of the Dover office/Barrington shopJob sites throughout the Seacoast NH region Why J.R.
