This position is in Sterling, VA. In this role, you will join a team of satellite system and subsystem engineers who contribute to the design, analysis, procurement, and testing of electrical satellite subsystems. Work is not isolated from any specific subsystem, and tasks may be associated with power generation & storage, C&DH backplanes, harness/wiring, RF, and the design and application of their associated test hardware. Activities may also include the evaluation of hardware against requirements addressing performance, environmental survivability, reliability, and mission assurance. Additionally, individuals may manage budgets, Con-Ops, predictive analyses (modelling), and survivability assessments through various mission phases. A typical day in this role includes a combination of performing assigned technical tasks, interacting with other engineering team members, and participating in customer meetings to support successful completion of the project.
