{"schemaVersion":"jobsearcher.job.v1","id":"b64fbc8951e5bed62e7cfc84","url":"https://jobsearcher.com/jobs/b64fbc8951e5bed62e7cfc84","canonicalUrl":"https://jobsearcher.com/jobs/b64fbc8951e5bed62e7cfc84","title":"Structural Engineer","description":"Job Summary:\nThe Structural Engineer will perform independent structural design and work interdependently within a multi-disciplinary design team.\n\nJOB DUTIES:\nDesign structures – ground-up, industrial buildings/facilities, commercial buildings, and healthcare facilities.\nDevelop strong knowledge and utilize the engineering software used by Vestal (see list below) for the development of design packages.\nMaintain strong knowledge of the latest codes and standards.\nAssign/determine all appropriate loads to structures based on project and code requirements.\nDrive projects toward efficient and cost-effective designs.\nPerform structural analysis on steel and concrete structural systems.\nDesign and/or analyze structural systems for local seismic requirements where applicable.
