As a Barista at our sister store next door The Annex Coffee and Foods https:////www.theannexstl.com you’ll be responsible for preparing drinks, engaging with customers, and maintaining a clean and organized workspace. Whether you’re steaming milk for a perfect latte or recommending a new blend, you’ll play a key role in ensuring guests keep coming back for more! Key Responsibilities: Prepare & Serve Beverages: Craft high-quality coffee, espresso drinks, teas, and specialty beverages. Customer Interaction: Greet guests warmly, take orders, and provide recommendations based on their preferences. Cash Handling: Process transactions accurately and efficiently at the register. Maintain Cleanliness: Keep workstations, equipment, and dining areas clean and stocked. Stock & Inventory: Restock ingredients and supplies as needed. Follow Health & Safety Standards: Ensure proper food handling, sanitation, and safety procedures are followed. Teamwork: Work collaboratively with coworkers to ensure smooth operations and great service. What We’re Looking For: Passion for coffee and customer service. Friendly, outgoing personality with strong communication skills. Ability to multi-task and stay efficient in a fast-paced environment. Attention to detail when making drinks and following recipes. Reliable, punctual, and a team player. Previous barista or restaurant experience is a plus, but we’ll train the right person.
