These responsibilities may change from time to time are business needs evolve over time.\nRequirements:\nKnowledge, Skills, Abilities, Professional Certifications, Education, Experience and Travel Requirements\nMust have high school diploma or equivalent\nWelding experience\nMust have experience in industrial machinery maintenance and repair\nMust be able to effectively communicate verbal and written instructions in English\nMust be able to lift 50 pounds\nMust have the physical dexterity to climb, crawl and maneuver around confined and or tight spaces\nLess than 5% travel requirement\nPhysical Demands/Requirements:\nConstantly (over 2/3):\nOperates and uses maintenance/mechanic tools including electrical hand tools\nAscends/descends equipment to perform maintenance on vehicles\nMust be able to position self to maintain equipment or perform duties of repairing and maintaining vehicles and work equipment.\nMust be able to move around industrial equipment in manufacturing facility and garage workshop\nMust be able to detect and observe equipment in need of repair\nExposed to chemicals and fumes common in the use of commercial vehicles; must be able to properly protect self and others from exposure\nFrequently (1/3-2/3):\nCommunicates with staff in the process or repairing equipment\nMove and transport material, equipment and tools up to 70 lbs with and without specialized lifting, moving and rigging equipment\nMoves across wet/slippery and uneven surfaces\nOccasionally (under 1/3):\nExposed to work in outdoor weather conditions\nRemains in a seated position while using multilimb coordination to operate vehicles.\nAbout Baker Commodities, Inc.\nBaker Commodities Inc. has been in business for over 80 years.
