The ideal candidate will foster relationships with employees, clients, and the community, while planning and executing public relations and outreach initiatives. You will coordinate internal employee engagement events, act as the primary point of contact for sponsorship requests, manage media relations, and oversee the development of promotional materials. Additionally, you will lead the organization’s internship program, collaborate with local schools, and support organizational culture strategies. The ideal candidate has strong communication, project management, and leadership skills that will allow for effective representation of LogistiQ.Essential Duties and Responsibilities: include the following: (Other duties may be assigned)Develop and maintain strong relationships with employees, the community, and clients.Plan and direct public relations outreach opportunities.Act as the public outreach liaison for community events.Represent the organization at industry trade shows, customer visits, career events including but not limited to planning, set up, execution and clean up. Project manages development of promotional and educational materials as needed. Planning and execution of internal employee engagement events (collaboration with HR department). As needed, develop committees and delegate tasks for event execution. Guide the work, monitor progress and report regularly. Act as point of contact for sponsorship requests. Communicate with groups requesting sponsorship and monitor sponsorship budget. Make sponsorship recommendations to internal leaders and follow up with requesting parties. Public Relations & Media point of contact. In collaboration with leadership, coordinate responses to media inquiries, write and distribute press releases, etc. Coordinate the Internship program, working with departments to place students. Also act as liaison to local schools for visits & tours, etc.Assist HR Director in developing and executing strategy for organizational culture.Lead employee survey process; develop & assist in execution of action items from survey results.Supervisory ResponsibilitiesN/ATravel DemandsRegular travel will be required to and from events. In addition, this role will procure supplies for events via local travel. A valid driver’s license is required for the role. Qualifications And RequirementsDemonstrated ability to communicate both internally and externally. In addition, the ability to work as part of a team and assist the organization in creating content.Exceptional writing and editing skills.Ability to set a budget and work within budget restraints for event planning, etc.Strong interpersonal skills and logistics coordination. The ability to represent the organization professionally at all times. Familiarity with the latest trends, regulations, etc. in communication and public relations and the ability to execute. Successful completion of 60-day probationary period.Education And ExperienceBachelor’s degree in Communications, Marketing, Public Relations or related field preferred. One to three years’ applicable experience preferred.If applicable, the attainment of industry certification is preferred (can be done in role).Physical DemandsProlonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.Must be able to lift up to 25 pounds at times.Work EnvironmentThe work environment is pleasant, temperature controlled, professional office environment in a manufacturing setting. The employee works in an office setting but does have frequent interaction with the shop floor. On the shop floor, the employee is exposed to moving mechanical parts and fumes or airborne particles.
