Senior Accountant - Up to $100k Our client, a well-established higher education organization, is looking to hire Senior Accountant to join a growing finance team during a period of positive change. These roles report directly to the Controller and offer excellent work-life balance, stability, and long-term benefits. ***4 days onsite, 1 day remote with Summer FridaysKey ResponsibilitiesManage month-end close activities, journal entries, and account reconciliationsMaintain general ledger accounts across AP, AR, payroll, and cashPrepare monthly and year-end financial reports and workpapersSupport annual audit and budget preparationAssist with cash reconciliations, drawdowns, and transfersServe as backup to Accounts Payable as neededPartner closely with the Controller on ongoing process improvementsQualificationsBachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field3+ years of accounting experienceStrong month-end close and reconciliation experienceHigher education experience preferred but not requiredExperience with Blackbaud Financial Edge is a strong plus
