migrations from Oracle, SQL Server, MySQL, and other RDBMS platforms to PostgreSQL.Perform database assessment, schema conversion, data transformation, validation, and reconciliation.Optimize SQL queries, execution plans, indexing strategies, and database performance.Support database backup, recovery, replication, and high availability.Build and maintain cloud-based workloads across AWS and Azure.Implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC), CI/CD pipelines, and deployment automation.Support cloud security, networking, monitoring, troubleshooting, and production incident resolution.Collaborate with application, DevOps, infrastructure, and security teams.Required Skills10+ years of professional experience in PostgreSQL development or database engineeringStrong SQL, database design, and relational data modeling skillsHands-on experience with PostgreSQL development and administrationProven experience in database migration projectsExpertise in query optimization and performance tuningExperience with ETL, data validation, and data transformationKnowledge of transactions, locking, replication, backup, and recoveryCloud engineering experience with AWS and/or AzureExperience with IaC, CI/CD, and DevOps practicesStrong troubleshooting, communication, and documentation skillsPreferred QualificationsExperience with large-scale enterprise database migrations.Knowledge of
