Depending on the day, your responsibilities will include:\n\nCompetent in all conventional aspects of architectural practice with an emphasis on the technical implementation of the project design.\nPerforms work requiring independent judgment and critical thinking.\nAdapts standards and criteria to project requirements and possesses a diverse working knowledge of related disciplines.\nCoordinates and produces Contract Documents with support and direction from the Project Manager, Project Architect, and other senior staff.\nAct as day-to-day client contact and have the most in-depth knowledge of all the project’s facets.\nFacilitate project presentations that deliver a consistent message to the client.\nManage work plans, schedules, programs, communication, and project team assignments.\n\nMINIMUM REQUIREMENTS…\n\nBachelor’s degree in Architecture from an accredited program.\n3-5 years of experience in architectural practice with a focus on construction documentation.\nKnowledge of architectural detailing and current construction standards.\nProficient in Revit and other design software and their application to Contract Documents.\nKnowledge of codes, consultant's coordination (civil, mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and structural), and ability to successfully complete the permitting process with minimal aid and supervision.\nKnowledge of design and construction project schedules, as well as construction contract administration processes.\nAbility to determine project entitlement and permitting needs for local jurisdictions.\nEffective communication skills, both conversational and written, for project collaboration and documentation, with a willingness to represent STG in front of clients.\nProblem-solver mentality with a willingness and eagerness to learn.\n\nPREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS…\n\nProficient in Enscape preferred.\nWorking knowledge of parametric modeling (Grasshopper, Dynamo) a plus.\nTechnology forward thinking and top-notch graphics skills.\nExperience working on multifamily and industrial market sector projects; knowledge of master planning and yield studies.\n\nWHAT WE EXPECT…\n\nWe value people who want to immerse themselves in creativity, collaboration, being at the forefront of innovation, and approach design inquisitively and thoughtfully.
