{"schemaVersion":"jobsearcher.job.v1","id":"b60807bd0bb33b3ac06d24ff","url":"https://jobsearcher.com/jobs/b60807bd0bb33b3ac06d24ff","canonicalUrl":"https://jobsearcher.com/jobs/b60807bd0bb33b3ac06d24ff","title":"FP&A Analyst / Cocoa Commodity","description":"Job Title: Cocoa FP&A Analyst\nLocation: Hershey, Pennsylvania\nType: Contract\n\nContractor Work Model: This is a remote U.S.-based opportunity; however, due to the reporting structure and regular interaction with a manager in Switzerland, availability during Swiss business hours is required\n\nHours: 40.0\n\nResponsibilities\nAnalyze cocoa raw material costs, including futures, differentials, premiums, freight, sustainability premiums, and other cost components.\nPrepare and explain cocoa PPV, purchase price evolution, and cost variances versus forecast, budget, and standard cost.\nSupport monthly close activities related to cocoa, including accruals, and reconciliations.\nSupport short and mid-term cocoa cost forecasts.\nMaintain and update cocoa forecast assumptions.\nAssist in standard cost setting and annual planning processes for cocoa raw materials.\nWork with data from systems such as S/4, iRely, and reporting tools to ensure data accuracy and consistency.\nSupport SOX and internal control activities, including documentation, reconciliations, and audit requests related to cocoa.\nIdentify data gaps or process inefficiencies and support continuous improvement initiatives.\nAct as a finance partner to Cocoa Procurement, Supply Chain, and Accounting teams.\nSupport ad hoc analysis and management requests related to cocoa costs, contracts, and performance drivers.\nContribute to process harmonization and standardization initiatives across regions.\nSupport ad hoc analyses and project work based on business requests.\nImprove reporting.\nLead monthly forecast updates in preparation for recurring management and executive review meetings.\nAnalyze monthly figures in S/4 to enable Actual vs. Forecast PPV analysis.\nRequirements\nSolid Excel and financial modeling skills.\nExperience with SAP S/4 (required) and commodity systems (preferred).\nExperience with Power BI.\nStrong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.\nComfort working with large datasets and developing Power BI analyses.\nExperience analyzing Actual vs. Forecast data and translating results into actionable insights.\nAround five years of relevant experience in FP&A (based on the skills outlined above).\nExperience in the food manufacturing industry, ideally within Procurement (highly desirable).\nExperience working with commodities (additional advantage).\nDirect experience with cocoa (strong plus).\nAbility to investigate issues, identify root causes, and drive solutions.\nAbility to build ad hoc or standalone reports independently and, where appropriate, push for scalable reporting solutions to be developed by IT—with my support.\nMust enjoy investigating issues, identifying root causes, and driving solutions.\nSystem One, and its subsidiaries including Joulé and Mountain Ltd., are leaders in delivering outsourced services and workforce solutions across North America.
