This role will play a critical part in enabling next-generation mission planning across U.S. and Foreign Military Sales (FMS) environments.\n\nThis position sits at the intersection of systems engineering, cloud modernization, DevSecOps, and cybersecurity, working closely with cross-functional teams to support mission-critical capabilities across complex, multi-vendor environments.\n\nResponsibilities:\nDeliver integration, evaluation, and technical recommendations across the Mission Planning Enterprise\nDevelop and maintain enterprise, solution, and functional architectures aligned with DoDAF/UAF and Digital Transformation initiatives\nApply MBSE to document current and future system states and support technical roadmaps\nSupport design, development, testing, and sustainment of DevSecOps pipelines and Common Development Environment (CDE) capabilities\nMaintain tools, scripts, utilities, test artifacts, and security patches to support continuous integration and deliver\nConduct performance, code quality, and cybersecurity assessments\nImplement and validate cybersecurity, resiliency, and survivability requirements across systems\nSupport ATO/IATT documentation, RMF compliance, eMASS records, and program protection activitie\nPerform functional thread and attack-path analyse\nSupport enterprise data management, including data governance, metadata, and interface documentatio\nDevelop and maintain data models and document data exchanges across systems\nProvide systems engineering support for FMS environments, including integration and delivery of releasable mission planning capabilities\nSupport configuration management activities, including ERB/CCB processes and baseline management\nQualifications:\nExperience in systems engineering across complex, multi-tiered environments (cloud, hybrid, or edge)\nRecent (within 3 years) experience supporting mission planning systems such as JMPS, JOMS, or similar environments (highly preferred)\nExperience with DevSecOps, CI/CD pipelines, automated testing, and infrastructure-as-code\nKnowledge of Zero Trust, ICAM/IdM, RMF, and cybersecurity engineering practices\nFamiliarity with ATO/ACO processes, AOC systems, and JADC2-aligned architectures\nExperience supporting enterprise architecture frameworks such as MBSE, DoDAF, or UAF\nExperience working across Government, contractor, and multi-vendor environments\nStrong communication and technical documentation skills\nActive Top Secret clearance (or ability to obtain; interim clearance may be considered)\nNice to Have :\nExperience supporting AFLCMC, PEO C3BM, or C3M programs\nExperience supporting FMS mission planning environments\nFamiliarity with Agile, SAFe, or Lean-Agile portfolio practices\nPrior experience working within mission planning ecosystems or related Air Force environments\nAdditional Details:\nPrimary location: Lexington, MA (Hanscom AFB area)Travel required to Eglin AFB, Scott AFB, and potential international travel in support of FMS effort\nOpportunity includes involvement in both proposal (pursuit) and delivery phases\nSalary Range: $145K-$170K\nOur final salary offer will be based on several factors, including depth of technical skills, work experience, education, certifications, and clearance\n\nWhat Blu Omega Can Offer You:\nCompetitive benefits including Health Insurance, 401K w/ match, Paid Time Off and more.\nResults driven culture that embrace our core values\nRewarding work contributing to our Nation’s mission critical programs\nBlu Omega is a Woman Owned Small Business Federal Technology services firm headquartered in Washington DC and supporting clients nationally.
