Senior Research & Sports Science Manager Footwear Innovation

YOUR MISSIONAs a Senior Research & Sports Science Manager, you will execute the design, implementation, and analysis of biomechanical and physiological tests that provide direct performance insights into product. You will serve a vital role validating and optimizing our performance product. You will play a key role in translating lab findings to a multidisciplinary team and relating findings to footwear and athlete performance.Responsibilities:Lead internal and external programs which deliver sports science insights to increase the understanding of the athlete and athlete-product interactionLead NITRO Lab testing with a focus on delivering proven performance insights both on hypothesis and validation levelQuestion methods, results, and application and think outside normal paradigms to find creative ways around barriersUtilize scientific expertise to develop and implement protocols that deliver performance insightsConnect the dots in all phases of research to provide a holistic evaluation of new concepts to achieve objectives as well as a high level of efficiency and accountabilityTranslate and communicate research findings into meaningful performance outcomes for key stakeholdersWork closely and build relationships with some of our key athletesManage and mentor lab membersYOUR TALENTMS or PhD in Kinesiology, Engineering, Biomechanics, or related field5+ years' experience in footwear researchStrong knowledge of anatomy, biomechanics, experimental design, and statistical analysisProven experience working with athletes and coachesStrong technical skills with biomechanical equipment (metabolic cart, motion capture, force plates, IMUs, pressure insoles)Experience with data processing in Matlab, Python, or RExcellent organization and time management skills as well as written and verbal communication skillsDomestic and International travel requiredThe hiring range base pay for this position is $95,00-$125,000 + Bonus + Benefits.
