The individual will work cross‑functionally with engineering, product, GTM, customer support, and external partners to protect customer experience and business outcomes.\n\nResponsibilities\nQuality Strategy & Execution\nProvide QA leadership for all new solutions and app launches across the pipeline.\nOwn QA planning and execution across functional, regression, SIV, end‑to‑end (E2E), customer journey, post-sales experience, etc.\nDefine and maintain QA strategy, test plans, entry/exit criteria, and release readiness checkpoints .\nRelease Readiness & Risk Management\nDefine release readiness criteria and provide clear go / no‑go recommendations .\nTrack and communicate quality status, risks, and mitigation plans to stakeholders.\nDrive defect triage, deduplication , and root‑cause analysis , clearly reporting key findings and customer impact.\nBeta, Validation & Stakeholder Collaboration\nLead internal and external Beta programs , including planning, execution, issue triage, and exit reporting.\nPartner with engineering, product, marketing, GTM, support, and legal/compliance to assess and influence business impact.\nCoordinate QA activities across internal teams and external vendors/partners .\n\nEducation & Experience Recommended\n\nFour-year or Graduate Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business Administration, or any other related discipline or commensurate work experience or demonstrated competence.\nTypically has 7-10 years of work experience, preferably in engineering development and implementation, project planning tools and software packages, people management, or a related field.\nRequired Skills & Experience\nTechnical & QA Expertise\nEngineering or software development background with strong understanding of the SDLC .\nHands‑on experience in QA planning and execution for software, applications, or platform launches.\nExperience with Agile / Sprint‑based development and CI/CD delivery models .\nProblem Solving & Execution\nStrong capability in defect triage, root cause analysis, and quality risk assessment .\nAbility to identify systemic issues, not just individual defects, and drive corrective action.\nCommunication & Influence\nProven ability to work cross‑functionally and influence outcomes without direct authority .\nClear, concise communicator able to translate technical quality risks into business‑relevant insights for senior stakeholders.\nPreferred Qualifications\nExperience supporting consumer‑facing apps, connected devices, or platform‑based solutions .\nExperience working with external development or QA vendors .\nFamiliarity with release governance, store submissions, and post‑launch quality monitoring .\nPreferred Certifications\nPMI/PMP\nITIL\n\nDisclaimer\n\nThis job description describes the general nature and level of work performed in this role.
