Currently seeking a Full Cycle Audio Visual Design Engineer on behalf of a national AV integrator that supports Department of Defense (DoD) and Commercial clients. These are Hybrid roles and you can live in Tampa, FL, or Northern Virginia/DC. They offer a very competitive compensation and benefits package. NO CLEARANCE REQUIRED.Primary ResponsibilitiesFull Cylcle Design ownership from pre-sales to client hand-off, with CAD support from CAD TeamSupport sales and technical teams during the pre-sales process, including solution design and proposal developmentReview client requirements and develop functional system designs that meet project needs and budgetsPrepare system documentation and coordinate with estimating teams for pricingCollaborate with clients and project teams throughout the design and implementation phases to ensure technical accuracyProvide post-sales support, including system verification and technical guidance during project executionMaintain up-to-date knowledge of current and emerging AV technologies and industry best practicesEnsure a high level of customer satisfaction through proactive communication and professional serviceQualificationsMinimum of 5 years of experience in commercial and/or Federal audiovisual system design or engineeringStrong understanding of AV design principles, integration workflows, and industry standardsProven experience in both pre-sales and post-sales technical supportExcellent communication, documentation, and presentation skillsAbility to work independently, manage multiple projects, and meet deadlinesProficiency with standard office and design tools (e.g., Microsoft Office Suite; AutoCAD, BlueBeam, Visio, Sketchup, or similar tools)CTS certification preferredStrong familiarity with Crestron, QSC, Biamp, Dante, Visual Walls, and similar manufacturers and AV product categories.
