The ideal candidate will have experience building and maintaining modern web applications, working within cloud-based environments, and collaborating across cross-functional teams to deliver scalable, user-focused solutions.\n\n*KEY RESPONSIBILITIES/QUALIFICATIONS*\n\n* Design, develop, test, and maintain responsive, high-performance web applications.\n* Build intuitive and engaging user interfaces using React.\n* Develop and support applications built on the Django (Python) framework.\n* Collaborate with backend engineers to integrate front-end components with web services.\n* Participate in architecture, design, and code review processes to ensure high-quality deliveries.\n* Troubleshoot and resolve front-end and full-stack application issues.\n* Develop, maintain, and deploy applications within Linux-based AWS cloud environments.\n* Work with PostgreSQL databases to support application functionality and performance.\n* Work with advanced search capabilities using Opensearch.\n\n*EXPERIENCE*\n\n* Must be currently enrolled or have graduated with a BS or MS degree program in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or equivalent practical experience.\n* 3+ years experience with one or more general purpose programming languages including: C/C++, Java, or Python.\n* Experience building crawlers\n* Experience building web applications\n* This position is remote or flex (depending on your preference), but the candidate must live in Pittsburgh, Pa\n\n*WHAT WE OFFER*\n\n* Competitive pay\n* Employer-sponsored dental and health care plans\n* Employer retirement contribution\n* Four weeks Paid Time Off\n* 13 Paid Holidays\n* Flexible schedule\n* Exposure to a wide cross section of new technologies\n\n*TO APPLY*\n\nPlease send us a *resume and cover letter* indicating your interest and the position you are applying for.
