Translate business requirements into technical designs, ensuring the solution is scalable, secure, and reliable. This includes analyzing business needs, evaluating potential solutions, selecting the appropriate technology stack within MAPFRE’s ecosystem.\n\nResponsibilities:\n\nDevelop comprehensive technical solutions that address business challenges and align with organizational objectives.\nCreate architecture designs, system diagrams, and technical documentation outlining the structure, components, and integration points of the solution.\nChoose the appropriate technology stack, considering project constraints, performance, scalability, and cost-effectiveness.\nProvide technical guidance and direction to development teams throughout the project lifecycle.\nClearly communicate technical solutions and their impact to stakeholders, including business and technical teams.\nIdentify and mitigate potential risks within the solution design, such as scalability challenges, security vulnerabilities, and integration issues.\nPerform performance analysis on implemented solutions and identify areas for optimization.\nDocument best practices and share knowledge with other team members.\nIdentify and resolve technical issues and challenges related to the solution.\nOversee the solution's lifecycle, including implementation, maintenance, and enhancement.\nEnsure solutions adhere to relevant standards, regulations, and organizational policies.\nWork closely with various teams, including Technical Project Managers, Engineers, and Scrum masters, to ensure successful solution delivery.\nExperience and Qualifications:\n\nBachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or a related field.\n15+ years of experience in relevant programming languages, software development principles, and a proven track record of leading large-scale architectural initiatives. Experience in building and leading high-performing architect teams is preferred.\nMakes independent decisions on complex architectural challenges, solution design, and long-term technical vision within their area of expertise.\nSignificantly influences strategic architectural decisions for the organization.\nEscalates major strategic decisions or significant technical challenges to senior leadership\n\nPay Philosophy: The typical starting salary range for this role is determined by several factors including skills, experience, education, certifications, and location.
