Join us and start your extraordinary journey today.\n\nPosition Summary:\nThe Groundskeeper is responsible for the upkeep of grounds, amenities, building exteriors and leasing office, parking lots of multifamily buildings.\nResponsibilities:\nComplete grounds work as directed by Maintenance Manager and/or Community Manager which may include picking up trash, clean dumpster areas, trash rooms and trash chutes, blowing the parking area and sidewalks, removing debris, power washing, etc\nThoroughly clean breezeways by removing cobwebs, bugs in lights, mopping floors, power washing, and wiping down doors and handrails\nExecute basic landscaping including, trimming and pruning, watering, monitoring irrigation for damage, and removing dead branches, leaves and twigs\nAssist in the preparation of make-ready units, including but not limited to removing trash from vacant apartments. (trash outs) prior to make-ready\nConduct proactive preventive maintenance activities to avoid potential issues and uphold the quality of the property\nDocument all maintenance activities and communicate clearly with residents, team members, and supervisors, providing status updates and explanations of ongoing work\nReport supply needs to Maintenance Manager and/or Community Manager and maintain shop organization\nCollaborate effectively with maintenance team members, other departments, and external contractors to ensure seamless property maintenance, fostering teamwork and cooperation\nAssess property safety and cleanliness standards, ensuring compliance with regulations and enhancing resident well-being\nKeep property in top-notch condition. This involves maintaining the cleanliness of the grounds, delivering notices to apartments and performing tasks like interior and exterior painting\nEducation and Experience:\nHigh school diploma or GED – Preferred\nOne to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.\nBasic Microsoft Office Suite\nQualifications:\nPhysical Requirements:\nMust be able to walk, stand, climb stairs or ladders and access various areas of the property\nMay be required to push or pull items and reach overhead\nMay be required to bend, stoop or kneel\nMay require dexterity of hands and fingers and ability to grasp tools\nMust be able to see to identify plants, weeds and pests and read computer screens\nMust be able to hear and understand verbal communications in person and over the phone or computer\nMust be able to hear to detect sounds indicating potential issues, such as machinery noises or alarms\nMay occasionally be required to lift or carry items weighing up to 50 pounds.
