Our ideal candidate is smart, energetic, hard-working and wants to join a great team.\n\nOur Vision\nRobert Reiser & Co. will serve the food industry and other selected markets by selling and supporting equipment that provides solutions to customer needs.\nEvery customer contact will result in an improved relationship with that customer.\nWe will continuously strive to strengthen our supplier partnerships.\nWe will encourage our fellow employees to reach their potential.\nTherefore, we will earn a fair profit and ensure our future.\nEssential Functions:\nAs a Project Manager this person will apply project management practices and processes to various Engineering projects that involve multiple pieces of semi-automated or fully automated customized food processing and packaging equipment and takes complete responsibility for its success.\n\nJob Duties may include but are not limited to:\nAssists sales by helping to define the project requirements by understanding the customer’s needs, determining proper equipment, required line rates, space and utilities, and timeline.\nAssesses and manages risk.\nManages expectations by setting realistic timelines, communicating project status, milestones, and unexpected difficulties.\nDevelops and maintains schedules (design, manufacture, install, FATs)\nDetermine internal and external resources needed.\nManages equipment integration – draws and publishes the lines mechanically and electrically.\nManages salesmen, Reiser techs, and vendor techs (both Reiser suppliers and outside vendors)\nManages and disseminates documentation.\nIs a single point of contact for Reiser for project communication both internally and externally.\nSources and procures equipment.\nWorks with our vendors to make sure equipment is properly specified.\nOrchestrates internal and external FAT’s.\nManages projects through our shops.\nCoordinates changes to standard equipment and assists with setup of equipment ahead of Factory Acceptance Testing.\nRequirements:\nBachelor’s degree in engineering (Mechanical or Industrial Engineering preferred).\nEducated in the fundamentals of project management.\nHistory of managing successful capital equipment projects including equipment from different suppliers.\nHas worked in the food industry and specifically with food production lines (preferred)\nSolid understanding of how machines work/run.\nProfessional communication skills both verbal and writing as well as solid presentation skills.\n2D and 3d CAD experience (Solidworks and AutoCAD Preferred).\nTeam Leadership (establishes goals and gets input from others).\nTime Management skills of yourself and others.\nManagement – focuses on getting work done against agreed upon requirements/timelines.\nProject management and organizational experience.\nEstimating Experience.\nPlanning.\nNegotiation and Influencing skills.\nOther Work Environments:\nExample: The job may include conditions such as intense heat, extreme cold, strong odors, and slippery floors.\n\nPhysical Demands:\nThe characteristics described below are representative of those encountered while performing the essential functions of this position.
