This position is on 1st shift, 7:00am - 3:00pm, Monday - Friday.\r\nBasic FunctionRequired to accurately pick, check and transport customer orders to designated location in a timely manner.\r\nJob DutiesRequired to work a minimum of 8 hours per day, 5 days per week. Flexibility is an expectation of this job, and team members may be asked to work overtime on weekends. All scheduling is dependent upon the distribution schedule and the distribution manager.\r\nResponsible for accurately picking customer orders, paying special attention to customer specific requirements.\r\nWill utilize R/F technology to fulfill these orders and generate appropriate labels and will also be required to generate appropriate paperwork at times.\r\nWill be required to stand/lift /bend the entire shift and able to lift 65 pounds.\r\nMust be experienced in driving motorized material handling equipment.\r\nWill independently perform housekeeping aisle audits on a routine basis.\r\nMust be able to work safely and efficiently in a team environment.\r\nWill independently plan work activities and meet daily productivity goals.\r\nMust be detail oriented and able to perform basic mathematical functions.\r\nWill be required to actively participate in our Safety Program.\r\nThe selected individual will possess a high school diploma or equivalent with a preferred minimum of 2 years prior picking / warehouse experience.\r\nAll other duties as assigned by the supervisor.\r\nOther duties as assigned.\r\nQualificationsHigh School Diploma/GED preferred\r\n2 years of prior picking experience is preferred,\r\nMust be experienced in driving powered industrial trucks (PIT)\r\nMust be able to understand and carry out oral and/or written instructions.\r\nMust recognize similarities and differences between words and between series of numbers.\r\nMust possess the ability to count and make simple arithmetic additions, subtractions, multiplications and divisions.\r\nAbility to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions.\r\nAbility to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations\r\nMust read and write English and perform simple math calculations.\r\nMust be computer literate.\r\nThis position pay between $18 -$22 an hour depending on experience and job history.\r\nITW is an equal opportunity employer.
