The role focuses on developing and implementing manufacturing layouts, tooling, and process controls, collaborating with cross-functional teams to drive continuous improvement and support new product introductions.\n\nKey Responsibilities\n\nDesign, develop and validate manufacturing processes, tooling, and fixtures to meet product specifications and production targets.\nCreate and optimize manufacturing layouts and workflow to improve efficiency, reduce cycle times, and maximize space utilization.\nCollaborate with product design, quality, and production teams to support new product introductions and process transfers.\nPerform time studies, capacity planning, and process capability analyses to identify improvement opportunities.\nDevelop work instructions, standard operating procedures (SOPs), and training materials for production staff.\nLead root-cause analysis and corrective actions for production issues using structured problem-solving methods (e.g., 8D, DMAIC).\nImplement lean manufacturing and continuous improvement initiatives (Kaizen, 5S) to reduce waste and lower costs.\nSupport procurement and supplier development for manufacturing tooling and equipment specifications.\nUtilize CAD models and drawings to create manufacturing documentation and validate manufacturability.\nTrack and report key performance indicators (KPIs) such as yield, scrap, lead time, and OEE to management.\n\nQualifications\n\nBachelors degree in Manufacturing Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related field.\n3+ years of hands-on experience in a manufacturing engineering role preferred.\nProficiency with CAD software for tooling and fixture design (e.g., SolidWorks, Creo).\nStrong knowledge of manufacturing processes, tooling design, and production layout principles.\nExperience with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) for data analysis and reporting.\nFamiliarity with lean manufacturing, Six Sigma, and continuous improvement methodologies.\nExcellent problem-solving, communication, and cross-functional collaboration skills.\nExperience with process documentation, SOP creation, and training production personnel.\nPreferred: experience as an Industrial Engineer or in industrial engineering principles, and familiarity with manufacturing equipment and shop floor operations.\n\nBenefits\n\nAvailable on your first day full medical, dental, vision, short term disability and long term disability.\nPaid time off\nMonthly wellness reimbursement\nHealth savings, flexible savings, and dependent care accounts\n401(K) retirement savings plan with employer match\nAnnual bonus\n- For this position, you must be currently authorized to work in the United States without the need for sponsorship for a non-immigrant visa.
