This paid position offers opportunities for growth within a thriving transportation company dedicated to excellence.\n\n*Duties*\n\n* Safely operate a variety of commercial trucks, including tractor-trailers, flatbeds, tankers, and refrigerated trailers, ensuring compliance with FMCSA (Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration) regulations and DOT (Department of Transportation) standards\n* Navigate routes efficiently using GPS navigation systems, planning optimal delivery schedules for route driving and logistics cargo handling\n* Load and unload freight carefully, managing truck loading and unloading processes while ensuring proper handling of hazardous materials and dangerous goods in accordance with hazardous materials regulations\n* Deliver freight to designated locations, maintaining professional customer service during pickups and drop-offs\n* Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip inspections of vehicles to identify maintenance needs or safety concerns, documenting findings accurately\n* Follow all safety protocols related to manual handling, truck loading/unloading, and transportation of hazardous or sensitive cargo\n* Maintain detailed logs of driving hours, delivery records, and compliance documentation in line with FMCSA regulations\n\n*Experience*\n\n* Proven experience in delivery driving or truck driving within a commercial setting, with familiarity in route driving across diverse terrains and distances\n* Hands-on experience operating tractor-trailers or similar large vehicles with manual transmissions\n* Knowledge of truck loading/unloading procedures, including freight handling for refrigerated trailers, flatbeds, tankers, or specialized cargo such as hazardous materials or dangerous goods\n* Demonstrated understanding of DOT regulations, FMCSA rules, hazard communication standards, and hazardous materials regulations\n* Ability to navigate using GPS systems confidently while managing time effectively on over-the-road (OTR) routes\n* Prior experience with automobile transportation or logistics cargo handling is highly desirable\n* Valid commercial driver’s license (CDL), with endorsements relevant to the type of cargo transported (e.g., Hazmat endorsement preferred)\n\nEmbark on a rewarding career where your driving skills make a difference!
