Electronic Security Lead Technician

Security / Integration Co. serving NY & NJ is seeking experienced, well organized and take charge type of people to perform system installation and service of Access Control, Video Surveillance, Burg. and other related systems. Individuals should be computer literate, mechanically inclined, organized, have good communications & troubleshooting skills with experience in field installations. Responsibilities: Performs service/installation of access control, video surveillance systems, and other various security related systems. Perform upgrades and additions to systems in order to increase functionality Perform computer program entry as required to add video cameras, access control and intrusion alarm systems as needed. Provide ability to install, service, troubleshoot and program Video Surveillance and access control systems. Requirements: High school diploma or equivalent required. 2-4 year degree in a technical field from an accredited college or university preferred. Minimum 3+ years of experience installing, servicing and maintaining access control and closed circuit television system preferred. Industry certifications for Access Control systems and/or CCTV a plus. Knowledge of Genetec, Software House, Continental, Sielox, Exacq and Pelco a plus. Experience working as a security service/ installation technician preferred. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Technical experience in low voltage systems. Detail oriented.
