{"schemaVersion":"jobsearcher.job.v1","id":"b5aad70fb203112e9cc3c6f0","url":"https://jobsearcher.com/jobs/b5aad70fb203112e9cc3c6f0","canonicalUrl":"https://jobsearcher.com/jobs/b5aad70fb203112e9cc3c6f0","title":"EGD Operations Manager","description":"Reports to:\nDirector of EGD\nSupervises:\nEGD Shift Managers\nJob Summary:\nAssist in the management, administration and coordination of day-to-day Electronic Gaming Device (EGD) operations.\nEssential Functions:\nEnsure compliance with applicable Tribal, Federal and other laws and gaming regulations and Kickapoo Lucky Eagle policies and procedures.\nEnsure the highest possible standards of guest services by properly listening and responding to guest and team member concerns and questions.\nDevelopment and implementation of effective EGD training curriculum, standard operating procedures, and policies.\nAssist the Director of EGD with developing and achieving departmental goals and objectives.\nConduct team member meetings to review and discuss changes to policies and procedures, announce promotions and upcoming events, address issues and concerns with staff, and promote teamwork.\nSupervise day-to-day activities of team members to include performance reviews, rewards, corrective action, time and attendance, scheduling, shift bids, training, plan work, assign work, direct work, address complaints and resolve issues.\nMonitor and hold staff accountable for complying with the goals and objectives of the department and Kickapoo Lucky Eagle Casino.\nMonitor and hold staff accountable for required daily staff walk through inspections of games, signs, and EGD floor equipment to ensure they are functioning properly and are presentable.\nRecommend strategies to improve and implement department service levels to the highest degree possible.\nAssist in the development, implementation, management and monitoring of the department's budget.\nEnsure compliance with the Kickapoo Traditional Tribe of Texas Gaming Commission policies and procedures.\nAssist in managing on-line records of all Electronic Gaming Devices to determine machine mix, payout percentages and locations to maximize revenues.\nIdentify staff training and development needs. Train staff on current and new technology relating to EGD machines.\nMonitor and address that all EGD team members are adhering to departmental SOPs and KLEC policies and procedures.\nMonitor prize payments to ensure paperwork is accurate and complete.\nDemonstrate and promote KLECH core values and MAD skills.\nManage and maintain security of confidential information entrusted to position.\nAttend and satisfactorily complete all required training as assigned.\nMonitor compliance with Federal currency transaction reporting requirements, Title 31 requirements and IRS Currency Transaction Reports and property established Anti-Money Laundering policies. The duties and responsibilities will be subject to change based on organizational needs and/or deemed necessary by the Director.\nPerform other duties as assigned.\nMinimum Requirements to Qualifications:\nMust have High School Diploma or GED.\nFive (5) years successful experience as a Slot / EGD (Electronic Games Department) Shift Manager or higher position of a large, fast pace, high volume casino.\nExperience or working knowledge of Kronos, IGT Advantage accounting system or similar slot accounting system, PSC floor efficiency system or other systems used to measure efficiencies.\nDemonstrated ability to write effective incident reports, Standard Operating Procedures and Policies and Procedures.\nDemonstrated ability to conduct training, develop training curriculum and effectively present / conduct training accordingly.\nStrong verbal and written communication skills required in English.\nOther Criteria:\nQualified Kickapoo Traditional Tribe of Texas Members and qualified Native American preference is observed.\nBachelor's Degree in Business or related area from an accredited college or university preferred.\nPrevious manager or supervisory level experience with bingo server based or Class II gaming.\nTwo (2) years of EGD / Slots technical experience as a Tech Lead, Tech Supervisor or higher preferred.\nAdvanced Excel skills with the ability to perform and understand slot analytics preferred.\nAbility to understand or speak Spanish / Bilingual a plus.\nSkills and Abilities:\nAbility to work independently with minimal supervision.\nAbility to maintain effective relationships with the General Manager, Directors, Managers, vendors and all staff.\nAbility to work under pressure in a fast paced, stressful environment.\nAbility to meet multiple deadlines and multi-task.\nAbility to have strong critical thinking, analytical and guest service skills.\nMust possess a positive attitude with strong organizational and leadership qualities.\nAbility to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure.\nAbility to define problems, collect data, establish facts and draw conclusions.\nAbility to understand complex instructions and material.\nAbility to establish and maintain professional relationships with individuals of varying social and cultural backgrounds and with co-workers of all levels.\nAbility to work effectively with individuals and demonstrate leadership and team building skills with empathy and enthusiasm.\nAbility to maintain confidentiality.\nAbility to follow and comply with established Casino guest service programs.\nPhysical Demands:\nWhile performing the duties of this position, the team member is regularly required to stand, sit, walk, push, pull, climb and bend for extended periods; reach with hands and arms; talk and listen on a regular basis.\nThe team member must be able to concentrate for prolonged periods.\nSpecific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision and depth perception.\nThe team member must be able to communicate effectively in person or using telecommunications equipment.\nThe team member must have the hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity to operate a keyboard, touch-screen display, telephone and calculator.\nFrequently lift and/or move up to 50 lbs.\nWork Environment:\nCasino floor and normal office setting.\nFrequent walking and standing in a smoke filled environment and frequent contact with the general public.\nTemperature controlled environment with varying noise levels.
