The role will support supplier quality, warranty review, measurement systems, data analysis, equipment qualification, and ongoing improvements to the quality management system.\n\nKey Responsibilities\nSupplier Quality\nPartner with Supply Chain to select, assess, and monitor suppliers\nDetermine which purchased products require incoming inspection\nEstablish incoming inspection criteria, frequency, and sampling plans\nLead supplier containment activities and corrective actions\nParticipate in supplier scorecard reviews and recommend follow-up actions\nNonconforming Material and Corrective Actions\nWork with cross-functional teams to determine the appropriate disposition of nonconforming material\nConduct root cause analysis to resolve internal, supplier, and customer quality issues\nDevelop, implement, and verify corrective action plans\nWarranty and Customer Quality\nWork with internal subject matter experts to review customer complaints and determine the appropriate warranty response\nAnalyze warranty data and prepare metrics to identify trends and improvement priorities\nRisk Assessment and Process Control\nPartner with Engineering and Operations to assess risk using PFMEA, DFM, and related quality tools\nCreate and update control plans and inspection plans as process or product risk changes\nParticipate in design verification and validation activities\nSupport the qualification of new or revised equipment, including FAT, SAT, measurement collection, and data analysis\nMeasurement Systems\nPerform measurement system analysis, including GR&R and MSA studies\nEvaluate and adjust calibration frequencies as needed\nUse a Faro Arm and other gauges to support qualifications, calibrations, tooling checks, and dimensional verification\nData Analysis and Metrics\nPrepare quality metrics for leadership and process owners\nAnalyze quality data to help prioritize improvement opportunities\nTrack trends and recommend areas of focus\nQuality Management System\nPlan and perform internal ISO audits\nUpdate quality documentation as needed\nHelp ensure manufacturing processes adhere to applicable control plans and inspection plans\nContinuous Improvement\nContribute ideas to improve workflows and manufacturing processes\nTrack continuous improvement projects and progress against established goals\nParticipate in improvement teams using Lean, Poka-Yoke, and other quality tools\nSupport efforts to reduce defects, improve consistency, and strengthen overall process performance\nAdditional Responsibilities\nFollow all safety procedures and requirements\nCollaborate with production, engineering, supply chain, and leadership\nPerform other duties as assigned\nQualifications\nBachelor’s degree in Engineering, ASQ Certified Quality Engineer credential, or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience\nTwo to three years of experience as a Quality Engineer, Process Engineer, or Manufacturing Engineer in a manufacturing environment\nKnowledge of AIAG PPAP requirements\nExperience with statistical quality methods, including SPC and gauge R&R\nISO 9000 or ISO 9001 experience\nLead Auditor training or qualifications strongly preferred\nExperience working with suppliers, including audits, scorecards, containment, and corrective actions\nKnowledge of DFM principles preferred\nExperience with dimensional inspection equipment, Faro Arm technology, or similar metrology tools is a plus\nSkills and Attributes\nStrong analytical, critical-thinking, and problem-solving skills\nHands-on and detail-oriented, with the ability to understand the broader operational impact of quality decisions\nClear communication skills and the ability to explain technical issues in practical terms\nStrong organization and prioritization skills\nAbility to manage multiple responsibilities in a fast-paced manufacturing environment\nStrong influencing and collaboration skills\nCustomer-focused mindset\nStrong follow-through and sense of urgency\nAbility to work effectively under pressure\nWork Environment and Physical Requirements\n\nThis is an on-site position in a manufacturing environment.
