Play an active role in the design of complex assemblies and establish stable manufacturing processes during prototype and development phases releasing documented and established procedures to production. Review, develop, and update statistical process control methods and related documentation, working within the limits of established policies.\nEssential Duties & Responsibilities:\nLead process technology transfers from Process Engineering department to Manufacturing department\nProvide operator training and validate competency to perform required tasks\nDevelop robust production processes using Design of Experiments (DOEs)\nEstimate manufacturing costs, determine time standards, and make recommendations for tooling and process requirements of new and existing products\nEstablish validation and verification criteria for new processes & products\nCreate and revise documentation detailing production processes\nTake the lead to provide engineering support to facilitate production processes\nTake an active role in the troubleshooting of problems in assembly areas working toward root cause and corrective action (RCCA) processes\nStay abreast of best practices and technologies and provide input on new processes to enhance or expand capabilities\nInterface with Design Engineering team regarding process capabilities, materials, and review new products to ensure they meet Design for Manufacturing (DFM) criteria\nIdentify, facilitate, and prioritize opportunities for process improvements\nOther Duties & Responsibilities:\nPerform or assist with any operations, as required to maintain workflow and to meet schedules and quality requirements.\nMaintain a safe work and clean work area, comply with all safety procedures and equipment operating rules.\nFollow clean room and other environmental precautions and procedures as required.\nParticipate in any variety of meetings and work groups to integrate cross functional activities, communicate issues, obtain approvals, resolve problems, and maintain specified level of knowledge pertaining to new developments, requirements, and policies.\nComply with all quality and ITAR policies, practices and procedures.\nParticipate in proactive team efforts to achieve departmental and company goals.\nContribute to building a positive team spirit.\nCommunicate effectively with all levels of employees.\nProtect confidential information by not communicating, disclosing to, or using for benefit of 3rd parties.\nMaintain the highest degree of honesty and integrity at all times.\nPerform other related duties as assigned.\nJob Qualifications:\nBSME or equivalent 4 year technical degree or 4-6 years of combined education and experience\n3 years of related manufacturing experience\nWorking knowledge of MIL, IPC, and, J-STD workmanship, qualification and performance standards related to electronic assemblies (Mil-PRF-38534/5, IPC-610, J-STD-001, AS9100, etc.).\nCAD, Solid works software courses, and/or experience.\nWorking knowledge of 5S, SPC, and, lean manufacturing practices.\nJob Skills:\nWorking knowledge of Mil-STD-883, Mil-Prf-38534/5\nWorking knowledge of Die processing associated with the dicing and sorting of integrated circuits\nAbility to program and operator wafer processing equipment both pick and place and dicing saws\nFast technical document generation/modification CAD, Excel, (PCB software is a plus).\nDesign tool/fixtures with minimal guidance.\nKnowledge in semiconductor manufacturing a plus.\nSelf-motivated with the ability to align priorities in accordance with business goals and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.\nTeam player who enjoys working with different disciplines.\nTools & Equipment:\nComputer and peripherals\nStandard office equipment\nManuals and automatic die processing, AOI, and, Semiconductor assembly equipment\nMeasuring devices, and required clean room clothing\nBenefits:\nAt Micross, our Core Values of integrity, communication, teamwork, quality and execution, self-discipline and accountability are cultivated throughout all levels of the organization.
