North Carolina Medical Economics Analyst
To support healthcare analytics initiatives, the full-time remote North Carolina Medical Economics Analyst will perform detailed statistical analysis, create and manage reports on care utilization and financial forecasting, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive data-driven recommendations.
Key responsibilitiesAnalyze and monitor care utilization metrics and develop related reports
Create and maintain financial models to assess the impact of medical cost action plans
Utilize SQL and Excel to develop dashboards and data visualizations for stakeholdersRequired qualificationsBachelor's Degree in Healthcare Management, Health Informatics, Economics, Statistics, Finance, or a related field
At least three years of experience in finance or analytics, preferably in healthcare
Expert proficiency in Excel and SQL
Thorough knowledge of financial data analysis methodologies
Strong business acumen and analytical skills
