This role manages R&D projects, supervises formulation chemists, and drives innovation to ensure product efficacy, stability, and regulatory compliance. Based in Hanover, PA, the position collaborates cross-functionally to deliver high-performance solutions that support sustainable agriculture.\r\nPrincipal Duties & Responsibilities:\r\nOversee formulation development for fertilizers, biostimulants, adjuvants, and crop inputs.\r\nManage scale-up processes from lab to production, ensuring cost efficiency and quality.\r\nLead strategic formulation projects and mentor junior scientists.\r\nEvaluate raw materials and emerging technologies for product improvement.\r\nEnsure compliance with agricultural and chemical regulations.\r\nCollaborate with agronomy, regulatory, and production teams to meet business objectives.\r\nMaintain accurate documentation and drive continuous improvement in formulation practices.\r\nSpecialized/Technical Knowledge or Required Skills:\r\nAdvanced degree (MS or PhD) in Chemistry, Agricultural Science, or related field; or Bachelor's with 8+ years of formulation experience.\r\nProven expertise in agricultural product formulation and scale-up processes.\r\nStrong leadership and project management skills.\r\nProficiency in analytical techniques (HPLC, spectroscopy, rheometry).\r\nKnowledge of surfactants, emulsifiers, and regulatory frameworks (EPA, REACH, EU Fertilizer Regulation).\r\nExcellent communication, problem-solving, and team collaboration abilities.\r\nKey Competencies:\r\nTotal Rewards: J.M. Any offered salary is determined based on relevant factors such as an applicant's skills, performance, job responsibilities, prior relevant experience, certain degrees and certifications and market considerations. U.S. Market-Based Salary Range Formulation Manager [$104,300.00 - $150,000.00] In addition to base compensation, individuals may be eligible for an annual discretionary bonus and profit-sharing payout.
