{"schemaVersion":"jobsearcher.job.v1","id":"b569f4e55793049463b8778e","url":"https://jobsearcher.com/jobs/b569f4e55793049463b8778e","canonicalUrl":"https://jobsearcher.com/jobs/b569f4e55793049463b8778e","title":"Electrical Assembler","description":"Electrical Mechanical Assembler\nThe purpose of this position is to provide support performing electrical assembly in an electrical department of a manufacturing shop.\nWe work a 9/80 schedule (9 hours a day Monday through Thursday, and 8 hours every other Friday, with every other Friday off).\nResponsibilities include:\nComplying with requirements per drawings and work order documentation\nPerforming electrical assembly of products, including but not limited to control panels, power distribution boxes, IO panels, automatic transfer switches (ATS’s), and subassembly of components\nWorking with wiring diagrams\nWorking with mechanical drawings\nPerforming quality checks to ensure accuracy and consistency with documentation\nAbiding by safety regulations\nWorking to achieve product consistency\nMaintaining a clean work area and achieving general facility cleanliness goals (FOD prevention)\nComplying with processes and procedures\nPerform other various duties as assigned\nQualifications\nKnowledge in measuring\nKnowledge in use of basic hand tools\nProcess-oriented disposition and mentality (a commitment to following procedures, instructions, and rules)\nExperience and/or interest in technical or mechanical disciplines (desired)\nWell spoken and written English language skills\nOrganizational skills\nProblem solving skills\n2-5 years’ experience in a manufacturing environment\nTechnical experience and aptitude\nAble to read, write and perform basic mathematical calculations\nAbility to understand direction and expectations of daily goals\nAble to read and interpret documents such as design drawings, safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.\nWillingness to work a flexible schedule, including overtime and weekends as needed\nPhysical Demands\nThe special physical demands required to perform the described responsibilities include the following safely and successfully:\nSitting\nStanding\nSpeaking\nListening\nWalking, including stairs\nAscend, descend, work atop, traverse\nPulling and/or pushing\nGrasping, reaching\nStooping, crouching, crawling, close spaces\nColor determination\nNear acuity\nExposed (outdoor weather conditions)\nNotice pursuant to the California Fair Chance Act:\nAny job offer is contingent upon completion of a criminal background check.
