Localization is at the heart of our mission to connect creators with their communities on a global scale.\r\nWe're looking for a Localization Program Manager to own the operational core of our localization program — vendor coordination, content workflows, quality processes, and launch execution across 29 languages. You'll join a lean team of senior professionals who operate as strategic partners to Product and Engineering and focus on bringing global users a native experience. Strong performers can take on increasing scope over time.\r\nYou can work from San Francisco, CA; Irvine, CA; Seattle, WA.\r\nYou Will\r\nManage end-to-end localization into 29 languages, including launches that require creative asset localization, terminology building and testing\r\nMonitor continuous localization operations while identifying and implementing opportunities for improvement.\r\nRun and evolve localization quality processes: coordinate testing, build LQA workflows and propose improvements based on data.\r\nMonitor and improve translation quality output by developing and maintaining linguistic assets\r\nInfluence upstream content operations for seamless, context-rich translations.\r\nBuild localization metrics reports (turnaround, quality scores, cost per word)\r\nYou Have\r\n5+ years of localization project/program management experience\r\nExperience managing stakeholders and cross-organizational dependencies\r\nExperience with enterprise localization tools, translation management platforms (Smartling, memoQ, Phrase or similar), and developing and maintaining linguistic assets and workflows\r\nExcellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication\r\nNative speaker of one additional language\r\nBonus Points\r\nAn analytical mindset, with the ability to visualize data, connect the dots, and turn localization insights into decisions that drive business and tooling outcomes.\r\nNative French, German, Chinese or Japanese preferred\r\nExperience designing and implementing scalable localization processes and technical automation\r\nTrack record of building localization programs from scratch or through transformation\r\nExperience evaluating MT/LLM quality in production workflows\r\nSolid understanding of localization metrics and data manipulation\r\nPerks\r\nMedical, Dental, Vision & Disability Insurance\r\n401(k)\r\nMaternity & Parental Leave\r\nFlexible PTO\r\nAmazon Employee Discount\r\nPursuant to the San Francisco Fair Chance Ordinance, we will consider for employment qualified applicants with arrest and conviction records.\r\nPursuant to the Los Angeles Fair Chance Ordinance, we will consider for employment qualified applicants with arrest and conviction records.\r\nJob ID: TW9236\r\nThe base salary range for this position is listed below.
