This isn't just a job, it's a chance to lead innovation, engineer impact, and build a legacy of excellence.HDR is looking for a Civil Engineering EIT candidate to join our Building Engineering Services Business Group in Folsom, CA. This position includes engineering tasks with varying levels of complexity, which are assigned by a Project Engineer or Project Manager. The EIT may work independently on small tasks and may assist senior engineers on larger, more complex projects. The civil engineering design projects this individual will support include a variety of market sectors: Technology, Corporate/Commercial, Education, Healthcare, Water/Wastewater, Municipal, Industrial, Power, and Federal.In the role of a Site Civil EIT, we'll count on you to:Assist the Senior Engineer with site studies, site designs, contract documentation preparation and graphic presentationPerform overall site layout, grading, utility layout and drainagePerform routine engineering assignments requiring application of standard techniques and proceduresComplete projects with clear, specified objectives and limited variablesPerform administrative duties associated with project management for civil/site projectsWork independently on small projects, or assist more-senior engineers on larger projectsPerform other duties as neededPreferred QualificationsFull time in-person work in assigned officeProficient with AutoCAD and Civil 3DProficient in BluebeamExperience with civil engineering software such as Bentley ConceptStation and/or Autodesk Infraworks and Civil 3DExperience with speciality civil platforms (e.g., Openflows), WaterCAD, or HyrdroCADRequired Qualifications* Bachelor's degree in Civil or Structural EngineeringEngineer in Training (EIT) certificate.Strong written and verbal communication skillsAn attitude and commitment to being an active participant of our employee-owned culture is a mustWhat We BelieveHDR is our company.
