2nd Shift-Press Room Operator - Norvelt, PAPosition Summary:CHS's client is seeking a dependable Press Operator for 2nd shift. This individual will be responsible for setting up and adjusting dies, operating presses to meet production specifications, and ensuring jobs run safely and efficiently while adhering to all safety and environmental policies.Shift/Hours: Monday-Friday, 2nd Shift- 3:00 PM - 11:30 PM-will need to train on daylightsPay: $18.00/hour, plus $1/hour shift differentialTemp-to-HireWhat You'll Do:Remove dies from completed jobs and clean presses for new setupsSet up dies for new jobs and adjust machines to meet required specificationsQuickfire presses and calculate specifications as needed for new jobsMake necessary adjustments to both new and existing jobs to maintain production within specificationMic, weigh, and unload presses as needed to keep production operating efficiently What We're Looking For:Prior experience in a manufacturing or press operation environment preferredMechanical aptitude and ability to make machine adjustmentsAbility to follow detailed specifications and safety guidelinesStrong attention to detail and commitment to workplace safety
