We believe in a culture where food and culinary creativity can bring people together for an enjoyable experience.\nQualifications\nCustomer service driven.\nPrevious hostess experience utilizing Open Table and Toast operational systems in an upscale restaurant. 1 year minimum\nAbility to work well under pressure, resolve conflicts, prioritize tasks, and multi-task in a fast-paced environment.\nExcellent verbal and written skills, as well as interpersonal and mediation skills.\nExcellent organizational skills; detail-oriented.\nPositive, professional, and outgoing attitude.\nJob Responsibilities\nGreet incoming and departing guests with a smile in a welcoming manner.\nAnswer the phone, enter reservation requests, provide general restaurant information (e.g. hours of operation), take to-go orders, and direct calls as applicable.\nSeat guests promptly in a polite and timely manner while displaying a high-quality level of service.\nStay updated on current menu choices, ingredients, menu specials, being aware if the kitchen staff is running out of any items, etc.\nUse the POS (point of sale) system to transmit to-go orders to kitchen by recording guests’ choices, identifying guest’s special dietary needs and special requests.\nProtect establishment, co-workers, and guests by adhering to sanitation, safety, and alcohol beverage control policies.\nCompletes proper opening and closing duties.\nHandles all cash, credit, and gift cards received during the shift and properly accounts for all monies at the end of each shift.\nMaintains proper etiquette with all staff members and guests.\nExhibits teamwork at all times.\nAlways maintains proper uniform and hygiene standards.\nCross train as food runner.\nMUST WORK HOLIDAYS, WEEKENDS AND HOLIDAYS.\nPLEASE APPLY IN PERSON - 18yrs old\nPLEASE DO NOT APPLY IF YOU DO NOT MEET CRITERIA.
