Maintenance Manager
About the jobA leading Transportation, Logistics, Supply Chain and Storage company is seeking a Maintenance Manager to oversee electro‑mechanical maintenance operations within a highly automated material handling environment. This role is responsible for ensuring system reliability, leading technical teams, and supporting continuous improvement initiatives in a fast‑paced operation. Key ResponsibilitiesLead and manage a team of electro‑mechanical technicians supporting automated systems.Develop and execute preventive and predictive maintenance programs to minimize downtime.Monitor system performance and maintenance data, driving continuous improvement efforts.Manage maintenance schedules, labor planning, and work orders using a CMMS.Respond to system outages and critical maintenance issues with timely resolution.Oversee spare parts inventory to maintain equipment availability.Track KPIs related to uptime, productivity, and maintenance effectiveness.Partner with operations and site leadership to support production goals.Enforce safety standards, policies, and best practices. Qualifications2-5 years of experience managing maintenance teams in industrial, manufacturing, or automated environments.Strong background in electrical, mechanical, and automated systems.Experience with material handling or warehouse automation systems preferred.Working knowledge of motors, drives, 3‑phase electrical systems, and basic PLC logic.Experience leading multi‑shift teams.Familiarity with OSHA and industrial safety standards.Proficiency with CMMS platforms and Microsoft Office tools.Strong communication, leadership, and organizational skills. Work RequirementsAbility to stand, walk, climb, and lift up to 50 pounds.Comfortable working at heights.Flexible schedule to support operational needs.Willingness to travel as required for training or project support.
