We are looking for someone with extensive roofing knowledge, strong leadership skills, and the ability to take control of a job and keep it moving without constant direction.\n\nThis position is for an experienced professional who knows the roofing and exterior construction industry and can *identify problems, make good decisions, and figure things out in the field without needing to be handheld.*\n\nStarting Pay\n\n*$40.00 per hour*, based on experience, with *room to grow* for the right person.\n\nResponsibilities\n\n* Lead and oversee roofing crews and job sites\n* Ensure work is completed correctly, safely, and efficiently\n* Maintain a high standard of workmanship\n* Read the job, anticipate problems, and determine solutions in the field\n* Coordinate materials, labor, and daily job-site needs\n* Communicate effectively with management, crews, homeowners, and other trades\n* Perform and oversee roofing repairs, replacements, flashing, and detail work\n* Troubleshoot leaks and other roofing-related issues\n* Perform sheet-metal and exterior trim work as needed\n* Properly operate a *sheet-metal brake*\n* Understand how roofing integrates with siding, gutters, fascia, soffit, windows, framing, and other surrounding trades\n* Keep crews productive and jobs moving without requiring constant supervision\n* Maintain a clean, organized, and professional job site\n\nRequirements\n\n* *Extensive roofing experience and knowledge is required*\n* Previous foreman, crew leader, or similar leadership experience\n* *Must have experience using a sheet-metal brake and be capable of completing brake work independently*\n* Strong knowledge of flashing, roof penetrations, valleys, chimneys, siding/roof transitions, and other critical exterior details\n* General working knowledge of siding, gutters, soffit, fascia, carpentry/framing, and related exterior trades\n* Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities\n* Ability to lead a crew and hold employees accountable for quality and productivity\n* Able to work independently and make sound decisions in the field\n* Reliable, organized, and able to communicate professionally\n* Valid driver's license and reliable transportation\n\nWho We're Looking For\n\nWe need someone who can be given a job and *take ownership of it from start to finish*. You should be the type of person who sees a problem and works out the solution rather than waiting for someone else to tell you every step.\n\nThis is *not an entry-level roofing position*.
